Jimmy and his family were on there way to a chicken show, it was sunny that day so all the windows in their car were down. Big thing where everyone brought every kind of chicken and what not. Heaven to Jimmy! Even the colors, and all those breeds - like fifty different sizes. That day he got to learn a lot about chickens, and also met some other kids who had an interest in chicken as much as himself. It was a big day for Nathan too and this is the time he decided that when he gets his own place someday, they will be having chickens.
He was always careful to refill the water and food bowls each afternoon as Jim knew it was more than important that his chickens had fresh access to both.
